good bike for 13yr
find a used honda 300ex or 400ex i have a 400ex 2007 i love it it maybe big for a 13yr old but he will grow in to it. these bikes are 5 speed and have a clutch but the rep they have is bullit proof all 300 ex have reverse andthey date back to the mid 1990s. 400ex started in 1999and they did not have reverse untill 2005 or 2006 but it is a good bike either way and i never use reverse any how even know i have it. they r chain drive as well. i love mine and i always loved hondas. 400s also have alot of after market parts. 400s around here depending on year go for around 2000.00 to 4000.00 used depending on shape year and extras. new they r 6000.00. 300s go for 1200 to 3000 depending on year shape and extras new they cost 5000.00. both they r worth it my buddy has a 300 and its like 10yrs old and it still runs great. never any problems but he does take good care of ot, but he rides hard. buy a honda you wont regret it.
