I don't know what model you guys are running or are looking at buying. I picked up an 06 Sportsman 800 and I've got more than enough power from that machine. The clutch is not ideal and some work could be done there, but Polaris is great. Independant suspension all around with more clearance than everyone other than Canam (in 06 anyways) comes stock with a full aluminum skid plate from front to back they are the only ones that do that. Some others come with plastic plates but I don't see them holding up all that long, At least not where I ride. All Wheel drive as opposed to what most machines are running which is four wheel drive. Makes turning a dream with it engaged, and as soon as you hit some soupy ground the front end locks up. Going form 2 to all wheel drive is just a flick of your left thumb on the fly. I'm loving my machine. looking back on my decision I wouldn't have done anything else. You can't go wrong with Honda though. I have ridden them and you can count on the anytime of night or day and in any weather they are a definate work horse.
