Speedometer always max'd to limit with key on
Hi,
02' Sportsman when the key is turned to the Acc position the speedometer starts indicating 20-60 mph then max'd out then it rotates back and forth from 40 to max speed involuntarily, without the bike moving?
Another more pressing issue that might be related to it is whenever the bike is put in reverse without the reverse over ride button pushed in it stalls, with the over ride button pushed in it's fine, (I checked the adjustment contact on the throttle cable and it's not shutting down the bike)
So I unplugged the switches off the tranny, now the bike goes into reverse fine (still have the mystery around the speedometer moving)but I have no 4 wheel drive in reverse, and no indication of forward , neutral or reverse on the indicator lights (of course)
