Default 2005 AC Battery Questions?

I have a 2005 A-Cat 400, 4x4 (Auto) Camo.

I guess I'll try to make this as simple as possible.

Original battery died.

My wife pulled the old battery and took it to Sears and had them match it up with a "compatible" Die-Hard battery. Of course,, I had NO IDEA, I was going to have to "fill" this new battery myself.....

Don't these batteries come "self-contained"? And is a Die-Hard a decent battery?

Default battery

All smallengine batterys need to be filled to the proper level with battery acid and charged at about 1 amp for a good period of time with the top cover plugs removed. The slower the charge the better. Die hard is a very good battery. I take my battery out and store it in a warm place during winter month which helps extend the life of the battery
