Arctic Cat 300 year 2000 4x4

ATV will not run. Full tank with fresh gas. If I use starter fluid it will start and run well until fluid is used up (few seconds). Seems not to be getting gas. I'm not mechanically inclined but can change the oil and spark plugs! And, a bit older and disabled so get tired bending over and staying on my knees trying to find out what's wrong.

It worked fine last fall and won't start this spring.

Any suggestions as to what to check first and where to look would be a great help. Would like to solve this alone before putting out bucks to the dealer.

I use this for mowing my fields, plowing my driveway, and going up into the mountain behind my house (for the joy of it!).

may be old fuel in carb and fuel lines gummed up. try to clean out the carb. pu;; the gas line of and see if fuel is flowing out of it.

Agree with tom. Start at the tank and work you way down.
