Default Safety Courses

Do you? Have you taken a safey course? I never had to yet but thought it might be a good idea anyway for when I'm on an ATV.

I've never taken a course, though when i was much younger i was instructed by a veteran rider.
I guess the biggest things i was taught was to respect the vehicle and its power, understand its handling and center of gravity as best as possible and respect the environment.

I feel if you take your time and get to know the vehicle you're on, you will be just fine. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

I think you are probably right. It is important to have respect for your ATV and to know what it can and cannot do and what you can and cannot do.

Yeh I guess that would help you to learn the ABC's of riding. And a lot is common sense of not being "too crazy" when riding.

Yes common sense is something people don't always use. I have always tried to be careful when operating anything from a car to an ATV

I haven't either but that sounds like a great idea. Where would you find something like that? I feel like I'd have to travel to PA or something to do it. Let me know.

I had to take a safty course for riding the trails and racing. It is the law in wisconsin enless you you were born before 1980 I belive. It taught me alot of stuff. The people who ran it really knew what they were doing and broke down the atv's to the bare nuts and bolts for us. It only took like 2 hours a night for 3 nights and it was done.
