Question
Hello everyone. I am an assistant chief for a volunteer ambulance company in Pennsylvania. Currently we have a snowmobile for snow rescues and we also have a 6-wheel drive John Deere Gator for search and rescues. My question is: Is there an ATV vehicle out there on the market that is just as good in snow as on dry land/woods?
We have not done a snow rescue in over 7 years and we are looking at alternatives to go from having 2 different vehicles to having 1 vehicle that can handel the work of both. We are considering selling both vehicles we currently have so we can obtain a single ATV that can do well in snow, both deep and dustings, and still manage get around well in the woods and on dry land. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. It would be of great help. Thanks
