Default Trail ride survial gear.

It has been a while since I have done any atv trail riding. I know what I need to take on my sled in the winter, but what are some of the forgotten needs or tricks when you are stuck/wrecked out on the trails with your atv? Thanks guys (and gals!).

Ride with a smart buddy, the guy with the new 4x4 with the winch and tool boxes filled with tools and a tow strap....oh yeah and he's a RN and was an Eagle Scout in high school. That will cover ya.

P.S. Or an army medic will suffice.

I am the guy who carries a tow strap and tools and knows how to use a sappling as a throttle cable! I am just a little aprehensive to take off with my 12 year old without the proper atv trail -unforseen -by- a- semi-noob- kit. By the way, the name is Mac... MacGyver!
