ported 110cc 4 gear engine, carburetor tuning help
Hey, I have a 110cc chinese 4 gear engine that I ported to 23mm. I can't figure out if I'm running lean or rich. The spark plug is tan and a little erroded like it is running lean, but I am getting black sooty deposits in my exhaust. I have a 26mm carb installed and a 26mm intake, I made an adapter to go between the 26mm carb and tappers down to the 23mm head. I have tried leaning out the high speed needle and it does better in the top end but doesn't have aa lot of power. If I enrichen it it has more power and goes faster because I can get to 4th gear but it doesn't seem to do as well in the top end.
