Default 2004 Rancher AT 400 slips in auto and is ok in esp

When I am starting out and going slow and in auto, the atv will not move but only revs up. If I swith to ESP then it does not slip. Also if I start out with more acceleration, it does not slip. This is intermittant. Any ideas? thanks Joe

Default 2004 rancher at

I have not been in water. I did run the codes and found an 11. I reset the codes and so far it seems ok. I have another thread for my gas leak though. I took the carb apart and all looked ok. After cleaning it and checking the parts, when put back together it still leaks out the overflow. am thinking of replacing the needle.
any ideas?
thanks
joe
