yeah i am good fabbing stuff, used to work at stryker medical as CNC PROGRAMMER/WELDER and my dad still works there in the metal fab shop... i've got my dad building a plate to specs for me. anyway, that sucks! i guess it will save me money! i have seen on superwinch.com that a guy has mounted his on the front rack, i guess that would work if you reinforced the rack to the frame.

Are you good with fabricating stuff? I always use a sawsall to fab metal. Maybe you could notch around the brush guard bars... Yeah, it looks like the steering is right there too.... If you had a welder you could go crazy.

Damn, You can fab way better than me.....I have only fabbed a couple of projects.... Sick, you already got the plate being made. That is way cheaper. I have always wondered why people don't put winches on the back?

That is sick....What kind of 3-wheelers and dirt bikes did you have?

they make a a back plate that goes into the back receiver hitch for people who don't want a winch full time. look at sportmansguide.com i orderd the 3 way hitch for mine
bikes:
79 or 80 atc honda 90 (was only 8 years old, didn't know)
85 honda 200x
87 honda 250x four wheeler (set up for racing)
86 honda 200sx four wheeler
83 honda 250r frame w/ cr 480 motor
84 honda 200s 3 wheeler
02 polaris 250 scrambler
88 honda trx 300 4x4 (now)
and about twice as many dirtbikes

i took the 480 motor out of my dirtbike and put it in the 250r frame, bad bad bike! i lowered the front forks and had wheelies bars customed made for it. i sold it after took it out one day with out the wheelie bars and it slungshot backwards on me, after i picked up the pieces out of the road, i went to the ER and they put my leg in a cast (broke and 13 stitches)
