ATV battery is dead, charging system good, but noticed when I use pull cord to start ATV the #1 shifter light blinks 7 times every few seconds plus electronic shifter won't work, have to use manual shift. I will be getting new battery but was curious if dead battery has an effect on electronic shifter?

Got my hands on another battery and ATV worked fine so battery does effect electronic shifter
