1983 big red 200 rear end problems

Hello, all forum goers, I have the chacne to pickup a really cheap honda big red. Farmer says it ran good when he last parked it because of the rear end. I know the big red is chain driven. Im wondering what could actually be wrong with the rearend? I am picking up a 83 honda 200 for parts everything is there. if i need them.

Rear axle bearings, worn sprocket are really all there is to play up, excluding brakes.

Thanks for the reply in fact i just picked it up today. the farmer said the splines on one side of the axel are shot and i can tell the wheel is actually loose
