If it has a ton of hard miles on it you may be putting some rings in it.Does it burn alot of oil?

Not sure about the oil only rode it a few times
1 1/2 hours on it.i was told maybe since the carb was rebuilt the the air screw is set wrong too much fuel
not enuff air fouling out plug.
it doesnt want to stay runing when it is cold and will not hold an idle

Screw your airscrew in all the way then back it out 1 turn and try it after that if you have to adjust do by 1/4 turns. You may have to play with it to get it just right.

I talked to a local small engine guru and he said to Start at 1 1/2 turns out then go in till the idle is as high as possible then bak it out an 1/8 hope this helps.
