02 Foreman over heating???

I believe it's the fan. While the motor is running, the fan won't kick on. I can kill the motor and leave the key on and the fan will work. Soon has I start the motor, fan quits. What do I need to do to fix my problem??

might have a electical problem try checking the wiring and is your engine overheat light on when riding
