honda big red help

it had no cdi box when i got it got a new one ran great for a day then lost spark. disconnected green ground wire on coil then ran fine shut it off and has not restarted since. hooked everything back up and tested black and yellow power wire going to coil and had .50 then tested green ground wire putting dvom to the engine block and got 11.00 v. dont under stand what is going on for it not to get spark and for ground wire to have 11 v
any help would be great cuz i am stumped

Im not good with electric issues all i can think is try replace the spark plug wire and spark plug cap hope it helps you out
