Has anyone had any experience with the 'universal muffler' sold at 'sportman's guide'?

my buddy had a yamaha 700 raptor which is fuel injection, he made a muffler out of an old motorcycle exhaust. it sounded cool. thats as close as ive seen to what your asking. because his bike was fuel injection he did not have too rejet it. i personally would not do it because in alot of cases there is an exhaust company that makes one to work for the bike. my buddy was just messing around but the results were good for him. i would say it would be ok if it mounted up good and sealed good and you jetted it. make sure its not close to the plastic or yo will get holes melted through it. good luck

Thanks for the input. I'd rather not have to rejet the carb (atv is only used for hunting purposes). Probably will bite the bullet and purchase an aftermarket replica - I'm seeing them on ebay for $150.
