Question why wont my atv stay running

i have a new motor and carb. the atv will start and sputter then die out. fuel lines are new vaccume lines are new also. what else could it be.

Lightbulb try this

is ur carb idle air screw set rite,fuel rate screw,jet good,and are you choking it or no if not try about half way to keep it running,oh and if you cant get it to start check if youre plug is fouled

the air screw was factory set. it is a new carb but i checket the jet and it is clean. i have an electronic choke so i cant run it on half choke. the plug was carboned up so i replaced it with no change. i dont know how to check to see if the elect. choke is working. when i unplug it their is no change. do you know how to test.

if you want to know how to check if the elec choke is working call the carbs manufacture up and ask them and also is there white smoke coming out ur exhuast or any color for that matter.

also try starting it by putting a little gas on youre air filter and i mean very little like half of a handfull at most but try less first oh and try putting tank on reserve

i have white smoke coming out of the exhuast. i do not have a fuel shut off on the gas tank and their is plenty of gas going to the carb.

Check the fuel cap vent. Make sure its open

I think you need a mechanic. If you do it right, do not yet fully recovered perfectly so try to take a help of any mechanic who is expert in this things.

Don't forget to put the tank on reserve, it would further add on to the life of your ATV and better you consult a mechanic friend...
