86 fourtrax 350 4x4 stalling when put into gear

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, I have an 86 350 4x4 that stalls when put into gear when it's at normal operating temps... Doesn't do it when it's cold.. and when it does it sometimes if you wait like 15 minutes it will be fine and start up again and not stall when I put it into gear...

Any ideas? mechanics are clueless..

Probably too lean. Get a proper spanner spinner. The ones you have dealt with are of the modern generation. Get one who KNOWS whats what. They are of the Fossil generation.

What rpm are you running at idle?
