need some help

hey it seems im running into more problems then i thought i dont have my new battry yet but my old one still had a bit of juice left in it so i tried so jump the quad off my mustang and still no such luck so i adjusted the idle screw to its refferd spot and still nothing then i checked for spark and still nothing. whats going on please write down as much as you know cause i wanna go riding soon

the quad is a 1986 honda fourtrax 250

What does the Shop Manual recommend as a fault finding list? If you haven't got one-then get one. The manuafcturer, Honda, know more than most on this web site will ever know. Funny that!!!
