Default 450ER Handle Bar swap

OK... stupid question. I'd like to upgrade the handle bars on my '07 Honda 450ER from 7/8" to 1 1/8" bars. What do you do with the ignition and indicating lights? I've seen the bar clamps from Trail Tech that incorporate these items. Is that my only option, it seems this option would leave the wiring to the ignition and pilot lights overly exposed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a 400ex and I upgraded the bars and made a mount under the hood and located the lights there. the key is mounted buy the motor with a couple of zip ties it works and you cannot see it. Ive seen the trail tech peice and it is a nice piece and everything looked mounted good I just did not want that ugly thing on my quad.
