Are you saying that the replacement twist cable is interfering with the throttle sensor and how it goes into the carburator? If this is just a generic motorcycle twist throttle/cable assembly, then your problem may be in that the cable and cable housing may be too large. You may need a ATV specified twist grip assembly kit for it to work. Has your dealer/tech mechanic given you any help with this?

Hello,
Is it a sensor or a switch? Most likely it's a switch. I'm assuming that it is there in case your hand comes off of the throttle so that the motor will shut off. If this is so you should only have one or two wires in it. Al you need to do to disable it is if it has one wire either leave it disconnected or tie it to ground. If it has two wires either keep them seperated or connect them to each other. Of course this does disable the safety feature.
Good luck.
