Default Gas to oil ratio

I bought my son a used Kazuma 50 (KZM139FMB). the guy said it was a 2 stroke motor and needed oil mixed. Everything i see online says these are a four stroke motor. how do i tell the difference? If it is a 2 stroke motor what is the proper oil to gas ratio? Thanks for the help.

Use 50:1. BUT MAKE SURE IT'S A TWO-STROKE!

The easiest way to mix the oil is to get a 5 gallon gas can and put in one quart of two stroke oil into it.
If it sounds like a chain saw or an old weed eater it's a two stroke. If it has a noticible thump or distinguishable noise like a lawn mower it's a four stroke. Even if you put in a gas/oil mix by mistake it's not going to hurt it. It will only smoke a bit.
Good luck.
