Polaris 2009 sportsman 850, power steering problems!

We just recently bought a 2009 polaris sportsman 850, we were comming around a corner in the trail and the power steering quick working and locked up. It happend so fast that we hit a tree and messed up the wheeler only had it for 2 weeks! Anyone else having these problems? Were hoping that Polaris will fix it without to much of a hassel.

Strange. Let us know what the dealer says. According to Polaris, if the power steering quits, it becomes and acts like an 850 XP without EPS so it shouldn't have locked up. Was there anything else wrong with the steering? How rough was the trail? Were you traveling on level ground, heading up or down hill. As you were coming around the corner, did you have to brake hard for any reason?
