I have a 06 700 that I would like to do some upgrades on. Looking for ideas if anyone has any. Plus has anyone else had a problem with heat from the exhaust melting the side panel, fender and the underside of the seat? There are heat shields at the front of the pipe and at the rear but, nothing in the middle of the exhaust pipe wondering why there isn't a shield? Will try post a picture of what I'm talking about. Any looking for a place to get a new rear fender that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

on most quads there isnt enough room all the way from front to back to run a shield. you should get some heat tape and put some on the backside of the side panel, and the underside of the seat and fender that way it wont happen again. i hope i helped!

It does have heat tape attached to the back side of the panel and fender and it still melted.
