Unhappy 2005 sportsman draining battery

Hey guys. I have a 2005 Polaris Sportsman and I'm having problems with the battery draining.
I tried changing to a brand new battery and that didn't help.
I found out there is a recall on the ECM underneath the headlight.
This regulates the power to just about everything and changing it out with the new part didn't help either.

So now I'm wondering whats left???
Stator? Short in the wires?

If anyone can help I would appr. it.

Big ride coming up in 4 weeks...

Cheers...

First you need to figure out if there's a short draining power from the battery or if the ATV is charging. Does the battery go dead when the ATV sits without running? If it does, you have a short pulling power from the battery. If it doesn't, the ATV isn't charging properly. With a good, fully charged battery installed in the ATV, test the voltage at the battery, with the ATV running. You should have about 14.5 volts DC.
