03 330 magnum leaking oil from drain plug
got my FIL 03 polaris 330 magnum 4 wheeler after he passed away, i changed the oil and put a new crush washer on it like the one it had ,iam pretty sure i did not cross thread it. it drips oil from the drain plug, after one day has puddle size of a fifty cent piece ,overtime it is alot(2 to 4 oz in 6 months, but looks like alot on floor) . i tightend up plug some more it slowed it down avery little. what can i do ? it uses 0w-40 synthitic oil it is pretty thin . any problem using teflon white tape on theads of plug? just worried a strip of it would come loose and get in engine
