Default 04 330 Magnum Overcharging

Hope someone can help ...I have a 2004 Polaris 330 Magnum... when rpm's. go up , the volts go up to around 18-19 volts causing the battery light to come on and speedo needle to flash, and when the bike goes down to idle rpm's, the volts go down to 14.9 volts and the battery light and speedo needle tops flashing. After searching the forums I have seen similar problems in the 08 model where the stator grounding out was the problem. However, viewing the parts diagrams for the 04 I don't see a stator or a voltage regulator. Could someone please help me in locating the stator or regulator if my machine even has them.
