Over charge / undercharge ??

Having charging icon flash constantly, but accs, all seem to be working fine. Have the machine mostly disassembled changing fried starter and wondering if magneto/ chg coil is culprit. While flywheel cover is off, noticed lots of rust and nasty in housing from water submersion no doubt. How hard/ expensive to replace pick ups while this far in?
Any suggestions? No mulitmeter on hand.....

you need a vom!! Why was the starter bad? Did you run the bike in alot of water?

>>>>you can clean it up good and spray some WD40 on it and hope for the best..That is if it is chargeing 13.8v--14.5v with a good battery
