Default sportsman 600 problem help

Hi i have an 04 sportsman 600 runs great when cold when it warms it losses power and can't go past around quarter throttle it will bog out and somtimes back fire then die this is my first Polaris so I am not very familiar with thier problems I do know that I need a coil one wire is messed up it is still getting spark just do need to replace it is the ducati coil can I still get them or do i have to buy the whole electricle upgrade kit please help

It could be as easy as the throttle cable needs adjustment. If you have a lot of play in the cable before it engages peel back the adjustment about 1 foot from the lever and adjust the cable . They are quite sensitive here.

Also check the carb boots. I had an 03 Polaris 700 that would crack the boots from motor vibration. If there is any extra air getting in it will backfire and not run. The 600 and 700 are hard on motor mounts which can cause the boot to break.
