when it gets wet, even spray from a wet road that it starts to spuuter and has a miss in the engine and no power. And anyone riding behind you can smell unburned gas. And after 10 minutes or so of sitting it starts working normal again.
sounds like it might be a bad sparkplug wire letting water into the coil contact end or spark plug end. Also may want to check your plugs, if they are old or fouled there's more resistance than normal and the water is just bridging the gap to the path of least resistance.
