I hooked my battery up backwards in the dark ya im dumb. And now it wont charge is it my voltage regulator a fuse or what?? Anything will help.

its a 2002 sportsman 500 h.o. everything works perfect but won't charge.

dead cell in battery, have you tried to charge it with a battery charger or try a different battery if you can. to me it sounds like your battery is shot. i have a battery now that wont hold a charge that i have to replace

Called the dealer and said about 95% sure it was the regulator so i picked it up and now its good to go.
