Default Transmission Bushing Location??

I just picked up a Quadrunner 250 4WD and it's stuck in Super Low. The control lever will go into low and high and the arm connected to the shaft at the transmission moves, but it won't move forward unless the lever is in "Super Low". I've been reading about a bushing that seizes onto an 18 tooth gear and I was wondering if anyone here has experience with this. I'm going to get a Clymer manual and get working on it but some advice from someone who's done this would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping the fix is just on the other side of the left side case where the splined shaft comes through and connects to the cable.

Anyone able to help out?
