Default 96 300 king quad tranny problem

I have a 96 King quad (300) that only moves in Low range. It won't move in High range or Super low. It still has 2 and 4wheel drive, but only in low range. I heard something "clunk" when it first happened. Any ideas?

Sounds like the high range hub inside the trans is broken

Can you give me an idea of how difficult/costly it is to replace that hub? Maybe I should look for a used tranny.

I would suggest a proper diagnostic before pricing out a complete trans .
Do you have a manual for the quad ?
I know ebay has a few sellers with cheap internal transmission parts

Thanks, didn't want to take to shop for diagnostic, unless shop will do for free. Also, tried looking up used transmission with site you sent me, but site is down. Will try later.
