Default king quad 750 misfire at constant speed

My KQ 750 has a misfire when I run it at constant speed between 10and 22 MPH. I don't notice a misfire when idling or accelerating. IT doesn't bog but when I'm puttin along slowly at constant speed I notice it misfires every 5 to 10 seconds... thud thud thud thud ... skip a beat ... thud thud thud thud .. skip ...etc.. Doesn't seem to lack power. It seems to run hot because the fan kicks on a lot so maybe too lean. I changed the plug but no difference. I put in some FI cleaner but not any better?? It has been like this since new and only has 250 miles on it. Any advice would be appreciated.
