Default King Quad 400 - loose gauge

I have a 2009 King Quad 400. On my last ride I noticed the fuel gauge was turning. I could press on it with my fingers and spin it back into alignment. However it kept moving and by the end of the ride the needle was pointing at me and the gauge was not aligned. I see fuel had seeped out for the gauge as well and could smell it on my fingers. How do I go about fixing it? Anyone have this happen before? Just don't want to take it back to the dealer if this is a easy fix I can do myself. Thanks
