Default Leaking oil seal

Hi

I have a leaking oil seal for a 03' Eiger. It is the primary clutch seal. The problem I have is, for the primary clutch drive one way, part # 21273-44D00, is this clutch drive suppose to go in one way, and if so which way because it looks like it can go in either way? I am waiting for the parts and have loosely installed everything back together, but the clutch does not seem to be grabbing the crank at all when I turn the clutch by hand. I am just wondering if it is because everything is loose or if that part does go in only one way. I would hate to put everything back together and find out it is suppose to go one way.

Thanks
