Instrument Panel's Blank

My buddy has a 2005 450 Kodiak, we were out riding and the instument panel went blank and the gear indicator and overheat lights came on and stay on. We tried to figure out the problem but were unsuccessful. Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

Sorry I cant help with your problem but im just curious if this issue shut the machine down or were you still able to drive it?

First check the connections to make sure they are tight and not corroded.

electronic control unit...under the headlight goes bad. When it goes bad the display starts acting up.
