Default 03 Kodiak 450 Carb Rebuild Question?

Need some assistance :-)

I just rebuilt my Mikuni carb on my 2003 Kodiak 450 using a Moose rebuild kit..replaced all the jets. The Kodiak starts up and idles pretty well. However, when I increase the throttle to about 1/2 (or above) it sputters and dies. The only possible cause I could think of, assuming all the jets are ok, was that the Jet needle was is not set at the right height? I cannot find any information regarding the proper position to set the jet needle in. I have referenced the Kodiak maintenance manual for all other settings.

Any help would be *greatly* appreciated.

I think you are talking about the clip on the main needle.....The second notch from the top is a starting point.
