1995 kodiak 400 not shfting into gears
Hi I have a 95 400 kodiak that is not shifting into gear with the shifter. If I keep lifting the shift lever I can get into one forward gear, that I think is high gear. Then I have a hard time while moving the shift lever down and rocking the quad to get the neutral lite to come on. The quad will go into reverse and drive fine, but in the only forward gear it will sometimes jump out. I was told to adjust the shift cables and the clutch free play( i was told 2 directions to turn the clutch adjuster to remove the slack in the clutch. Hope some one can clarify the clutch adjustment for me and maybe give me some insight into the shifting problem. Thanks
