Default Raptor

My friend has an 03 raptor with a pro flow intake and k&n filter. The problem is the thing has no top end. My predator walks all over me. The low end is great but it just seems like it should have more on top. The gearing is stock as well as exhaust. If you stab the throttle it sometomes backfires real loud. Anyone got some hints on jetting adjustment with the pro flo installed. Any help would be great, thanks
