2000 big bear 400

HELP ! 2000 Big Bear after several minutes of good strong running...back fires a few times..then cuts out as if someone turned it off. After sitting and waiting for a bit fires right back up and runs for several minutes again....until it does the same again. Any help much appriciated.

Have you checked the carb or the spark plugs?

Yes plugs are good and the carb was just torn down and cleaned after a long period of sitting....it was done by a very reputable guy who did my other one as well and it runs fine...so not sure..

Sounds like a partial block on the fuel filter.
