I have an Arctic Cat 700cc Diesel Quad, that has a problem.
My dealer has never heard of this happening before.
The bike starts and runs for a time then the revs fall and it then cuts out.
The problem was identified as the cam which drives the lift pump.
This cam fits onto the camshaft and operates a push rod which in turn drives the lift pump. The push rod has worn the cam down so it no longer works. The Cam & the lift pump were replaced, whilst this solved the problem initially, it has happened again. This time in a matter of a few hours.
Has anyone ever heard of this happening before?
Cheers
