Question 2002 polaris 500 scrambler 4x4

I have a 2002 polaris 500 scrambler 4x4. The solenoid will only click and not turn over the motor. I used to be able to jump it off but not anymore. Question, is the solenoid bad or is there a fuse between the solenoid and the starter? Thank you. You can email me at [email protected]

I've never heard of a fuse being between a solenoid and starter due to the high amperage that flows there. Too much for a fuse. I would say your solenoid is probably corroded or dirty and not enough current is passing through it to start the motor. Your battery could also be low or have bad connection on the terminals. Check all your connections first before you buy a new solenoid. There should also be a main fuse between the solenoid and the battery. Here's a diagram that may help.
