ATV rack placement question

Apologies if this is not the right place to post this question, but we've just upgraded to a long bed pickup and have the older style Bulldog ATV rack. Not sure how to place the rack... It has to be towards the rear of the bed in order to unload, but the hubby is concerned about it sliding forward, even though the heavy duty tie downs will be in place. Then we thought if we put something between the rack and the front of the bed to keep it from drifting, that might work. Ideas?

I forgot to mention that it's a rear loading rack.

tool box?

Not sure I totaly understand your set up but I use a utility box or tool box that mounts inside the bed to stop mine from crashing through the back window.

That's a great idea, thanks! We did use the rack this weekend, and it worked fine sitting in the back of the bed--didn't move at all.

look into the Louisiana guard dog, it will solve all your problems. I personally don't own one but the idea is a great one.
