1996 Timberwolf 4x4 250

Any help anyone can provide on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Tried firing up this ATV with a brand new battery and could not get it to turn over. New spark plug, oil was changed, carburetor was cleaned, starter solenoid replaced, and still cannot get it to start.

Thoughts on where I should look next? It almost sounds like it is not getting spark to fire but I cannot imagine my spark plug is bad but I guess it is possible.

Choke won't get it going and even opening full throttle (thinking maybe it was flooded) would not do anything.

A video of what happens when I try to start it is here [hxxps://www.dropbox.com/s/8qcycwkjci7uw7y/20190928225609_MVI_6342.MP4?dl=0]. I figured the only way to really see what might be happening is watching and hearing.

The URL is inside the brackets and you have to replace hxxps with https. Sorry, it is something I do to not create direct links.

maybe you're not getting spark, did you check? pull the spark plug and attach the lead and place the spark plug where its touching the engine and where you can see the gap and crank it (or the red neck alternative: put something metal in the boot and touch the metal piece while cranking the engine, it you get zapped enough to give you a heart attack, you have spark

That's a good point @dmit. I am making an assumption that I should be getting a spark rather than actually verifying. I will do that and report back. I'll go the non-redneck alternative way.
