Honda Rancher maintenance

Hi All,
Iím new here, and this is my first thread. I have a 2016 Honda Rancher 4x4, it leads a pretty easy life, itís never seen water or mud, just driven on relatively flat grassy surfaces. I bought it mainly cuz I do long range tactical shooting, and since cars and pick ups arenít allowed on the range I bought the Rancher new in 2016, itís one of the best pieces of shootin gear I ever bought, it sure beats walking from 400-1000 yards to put out, check, and take in my targets. It also sees a few small chores around the property, like pulling trimmed tree branches to the burn pile, itís also great for entertaining the grand kids when they come out. The ATV has 403 miles on it, or 134 hrs. Iíve changed the engine oil and filter twice now, and also just changed both front and rear differential oil for the first time. I adjusted the clutch as per the manual, and it shifts really easy now, before I did that it always seemed a little hard to shift. I also checked the spark plug and it looks fine, the ATV runs great, Iíve never had a problem with it and itís never been run hard. But I have one concern, when I drained both differentials the oil was sort of a blackish-green, but NO steel shavings were in it. Is that color normal for a first time oil change on differentials? I kinda thought since the quad sees such light use the oil would still look fairly new. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
