Warren W. Craft IV First check the oil, then the spark plug. (Clean and check the gap) Move on to the air filter, make sure no critters have made a home out of your air box. If it's liquid cooled then check the level. Now check the fuel. Some people would tell you that the fuel would be bad after sitting for a year, but in my experience, just add some 93 octane to top off the tank. Kick or electric start, make sure you have the choke on full before starting. A little chain lube and air up the tires and your off and running.

Fourwheeler has been sitting for 1 year what to check first?

My fourwheeler has been sitting out in the elements for a year and I need to know what I should check to get it running again?
