Lt125 carb problem

The carb on my 1984 125 keeps clogging when I got it there was 3 year old gas left in it. I think there is old gas on the bottom of the tank but not sure. Just got it this summer

Welcome to the forum:)

You should Remove+rinse the tank out to remove all the old debris(metal tanks have rust). Get a new Fuel filter and remove carb....clean the jets.

You have to be careful not to bend any parts in the carb.....and not forget where everything goes....

7: GEAR 5TH DRIVE 488197-001
Is exactly the same in 1984+85'

They also share the same front and rear sprockets.... You can gain top speed by changing out your sprockets....I couldn't find anything but smaller front(better low end) and OEM rear 49 OEM 13/49

There is two different types of transmissions on the 84'= Model D + Model E They look different
