Compression tests are done on a hot engine. This way all the parts expand with heat and get better compression....:thumbsup:
Also, run the test with an open throttle.....
-You can do a wet test which is where you add a table spoon or so of oil to the cylinder and check the compression.. this tells you how well the rings are sealing. If the compression jumps way up, then you have worn rings
